The Beauty of Spring Equinox

March 20th is the Spring Equinox. This is when we bid farewell to the winter (for some reason I felt this winter lasted too long!) and we welcome spring which brings the season of renewal and awakening, as the earth and nature become alive, we see blossom, the emergence of flowers and brighter days ahead.

I noticed today whilst I ended a little day trip in Chichester City Centre, that the emergence of the spring sun set was absolutely stunning. On the way back to the car, I caught the splendid sight of the Chichester Cathedral spire, which was surrounded by a heavenly looking glow, which came from the setting sun.

I was completely in awe, that I did not take the time to take a photo, as I knew that, although my camera is very good at taking photographs, it would never capture the absolute splendour of the sunset… so therefore, I savoured the sight and held its beauty within my soul..
