Chilli Busting Cold Attack Mode

It's the end of the winter and I have been reflecting on health related issues. This has been one of the healthiest winters I have ever had! I have learned the secret of beating down colds and flu viruses, even when they strike and I feel that stinging niggle in the back of my throat or get a bit of bunged up nose.

You also have to trust me that I have been surrounded by really ill, spluttering, pouring eyes, coughing and sneezles from the office, from friends, family and my partner. I have sat next to people who required antibiotics to get over chest infections and guess what? I have literally been immune and I feel that my immune system has never been this strong.. and even people are noticing this.. Want to know why?

I have been able to create a super strong, virus busting immune system, via making some changes to my diet.

Here's what I am doing differently..

*Every day I am eating at least 3 green finger chilli peppers. I eat these raw with any of my meals.

*Everyday I eat a handful of mixed nuts (they not roasted and are unsalted)

*Almost every day I have a small apple and 2 small oranges

*I drink 2 teaspoons of my honey turmeric bomb and garlic honey bomb.

*I intermittent fast every day.

*If I am surrounded by people with viruses, or feel some early physical symptom; then I supplement my diet with having a 1000mg powdered vitamin c with zinc in a drink which I drink slowly - I drink this for 4 days whilst it's virus fest!

*I also use my nutribullet to fire up a healthy shake with: protein shake, filtered water, blueberries, whole linseeds and sunflower seeds, apple, ginger and orange.

*I've cut right down on my dairy consumption and overcome my cheese and pizza cravings (luckily)
