What you can control…
Learning to take command of what you can control and letting go of what you can’t, is the intelligent way of living. Your frustration and stress levels will decrease dramatically when you give up worrying about the things you have no power over. Instead focus on the things you can affect change. You can try to do the following: create and develop better daily habits; stop yourself from having negative thoughts; pamper yourself a little; be kind and generous with those around you; spend time outside; listen to music; be grateful for what you have, but don’t be afraid to dream of the future you wish for and VISUALISE the best outcome.
When you try to take simple steps in the right direction, use your imagination, try to learn new things, be open to unlearning, listen to music, dance, be silly, laugh, choose your friends carefully, share the good and the bad times and above all, know that you are unique! That there’s a reason why you are here and that even if you don’t think so, the most important things in your life are actually under your control, so exercise your power to affect them positively.
Remember you are always in control and in the drivers seat!
